Your daily practice builds momentum, which each game tracks so you don't have to

Build momentum, daily

Run your own race - Bluey’s mom.

TL;DR

How do you know you’re making progress? Track practice over time.

“momentum of learning”

You’re growing when you do something better today than yesterday.

We get there in small leaps.

Say the sound a letter makes > ‘I did it!’ > Fun > ‘Let’s do another one, dad!’

To help track progress over time the games come with a few nice features:

  1. A button to track attempts.
  2. A button to mark a letter or word as learned.

These are saved in your browser’s memory. This way you may close the browser and when you come to the site, your progress will be saved.

There’s more:

  1. Progress is tracked by daily session.
  2. Momentum is your trend over the last 5 sessions.

Daily sessions

You can come back to the site to practice multiple times in a single day, a few letters at a time. Those attempts are summed up as part of today’s effort. The next day start a new session. You don’t have to come on consecutive days. Just come back often to make it count.

Start by learning the sounds a letter makes

Track progress

The game tracks the letters and words you mark as learned. You can uncheck them at any point.

Resetting momentum

Why? Maybe you have two students. We’ll find an elegant way to help you teach two or more students in the future. For now, you can use the reset momentum button at the bottom should you ever get the urge to.

Your privacy matters

Your data is yours. Your progress is stored on your local machine, within the browser’s memory. The progress is not available across devices. That’s a limitation today. Maybe some day we’ll be able to sync progress across devices. This feature is tricky, costly, and your progress would be stored in the cloud - requiring a longer privacy policy.
