How we hacked learning to read

TL;DR
There are no hacks. Instead, adopt these behaviours to get better results more often.
Tips
Tooltips help you get the most from these games
Each game packs a few features. Get to know them with tooltips (enabled by default). Read the game info sheet to see them all on one page. The tooltips and game info buttons are located in the bottom right corner.
Engage your student one-on-one
Chances are you don’t have a reading prodigy. You will lead, they follow. Do any 3 of these. Do more if you can or if you’ve got an active child.
Enage often, aim for daily
Measure your progress as a team using our Momentum tracker. Total attempts per day are logged and shown for the last 5 days of practice; they don’t have to be consecutive days.
Use physical cards
We don’t sell any, but these guys do. They’re big literacy advocates that we’re happy to support. These are the best out there .
Practice anywhere and everywhere
Out for a walk? Grab a few physical cards, place them on the pavement, and jump over the letter you call out. Sitting on a bench? Pull up our site on your phone.
Don’t leave your devices unattended
From one parent to another, do this together with your child. Don’t leave your toddler alone; they always change a setting or renew your Prime membership.
Go all in with the Reading by Writing method
I searched and searched to find explanations for rules behind Game 3 and I finally found them. 70 phenomes and 30 rules lay out the Reading and Writing of English language. Let’s unpack them together.
